Those who qualify for the program will get a 25% reduction on their electric bill for the first 600 kilowatt hours used each month, creating over $300 in savings.

Lyndon Police Charging up for 2013 Budget

police budgetLYNDON - After spending nearly $10,000 in automotive repairs last year, the Lyndonville Police department is hoping to receive funding for a new police cruiser.

The Lyndonville Police Department has had a 2004 Dodge Intrepid since 2004, and in that short amount of time its racked up over 160,000 miles.

Spreading the Word on Goat Meat

goat meatDANVILLE - A local woman is trying to spread a message to farmers and Vermont communities that has taken her from her Danville farm all the way to Montpelier. 

 

Shirdley Richardson's message is that 80 percent of goats aren't utilized enough on dairy farms and that is a loss of profit for farmers.

St. J Student Hosted French Festival

Sounds of the French language and smells of traditional cooking filled Catamount Arts. It was decorated as if it was a different country.

Barnet ATV Vote Passes

barnetatvvotepassesBARNET - 344 votes were counted in Barnet on November 14th to decide on retaining the 2010 town ordinance that allows ATV's to travel on public roads. 

The counts totaled, 215 yes to 129 no.

Denied Motion in Prue Trial May Change
