LYNDON- After a barn caught on fire yesterday on Vail Drive in Lyndon, Officials have stated that they will not be investigating into the cause of the fire.
They are ruling it as "accidental and undetermined."
According to Lyndonville Fire Captain, Tim Nolan, the fire department will not be looking further into the case because the cause of the fire is not suspicious.
The barn is a total loss and according to Larry Willey, homeowner, the vinyl siding that covers the backside of the house was warped from the fire, but the house does not have any other damage.
Officials say in order to put the fire out, they had to cut through almost two feet of ice from a nearby river with a chainsaw, as well as use snow and foam to put it out, which is a common practice the department uses this time of year.
All animals were accounted for and there were no reported injuries.
