LYNDONVILLE - With Vermont's 2018 Town Meeting Day now past, the future of Lyndon Rescue has been secured under the town's appropriation. At the Town Meeting the appropriation providing additional funding to Lyndon Rescue was passed as part of a lump collection of multiple appropriation items; after a brief discussion between the selectboard and members of the community, the budget was passed.

LYNDON- 2017 was a year of uncertainty at Lyndon's Town Meeting Day. The voters had the choice: to join seven other school districts and become a unified school district, or find another option. The vote passed with room to spare, and as of July 1st, 2018, Lyndon will merge into the Kingdom East Unified School District.

Lyndonville - While the town of Lyndon gets ready for town meeting day, the school board is also busy at work; finalizing their budgets and squaring away all appropriations before March 6th. The Town school is also looking into potential additions to be made to the campuses existing structure. With the Lyndon Town School being one of eight schools joining together to form the Kingdom East School District, the Lyndon Town School is on a deadline of finding what additions and renovations they either need or want to make to their facility.

LYNDONVILLE- Valentine's Day is a few days away and flower shops are busy with orders and getting ready for the big day.

Co-Owner of The Daisy Daze Sara Dwyer says that around Valentine's Day the store gets busy, "It gets a lot busier during Valentine's Day we get a lot more orders in." The process to get ready for Valentine's Day starts several months before the actual month says Dwyer. "We order flowers back in December January time. We started getting vases, chocolates that type of stuff at the beginning of the month."

LYNDON - The Village Sports Shop Trailside on Darling Hill Road has been working with a relatively new form of biking to help stimulate business during the long winter season.
