Darling Hill Rezoning

thumb Lyndon - The Lyndon planning commission met Wednesday October 13th to discuss the rezoning of Darling Hill Road.

The purpose of rezoning would be to allow commercial properties on the road. It is currently zoned as rural residential which limits it to inns and private homes.
Annie Geratowski, the planning and zoning administrator was at the meeting.
"The discussion was basically whether the planning commision wanted to move forward and explore in the possibility of rezoning the area which is currently rural-residential, snd that are being specific parcels around darling hill but the boundaries have not yet been determined"

A survey was sent out to the all occupants on the road and the main concerns were the aesthetic of the business and also the potential increase in traffic.

The board talked about the potential businesses they would hope to draw in which included camping site, bike shops, and things along those lines.

They will be having a public hearing to allow the residents voice their concerns on November 9th.
