Foliage Season in Full Swing

fall foilageAROUND THE NEK - September 18th marks the beginning on fall foliage season in the North East Kingdom.

People come near and far to take in the natural beauty of the area and its wildlife. Leaf season is a short but highly popular one here in the Vermont. For only three short weeks one can enjoy beautiful multi colored leaves and plants, just enough time to take it all in before the winter. The North East Kingdom offers a few great ways to enjoy this short season.

One of the ways is to tour around in a car.  A good path to take to view all the nature and scenery the North East Kingdom has to offer is to follow the Connecticut river on Route 2. Another way to enjoy the season is to bike or hike on trails in the area. The Northeast Kingdom's foliage brings business to the local economy and draws people from many other states and areas.
