Meet Your Caledonia-Washington Candidates

The Caledonia-Washington District has 1 open seat, 1 incumbent and 1 challenger.

The incumbent, Republican Greg Burtt, while in office put together the Burtt amendment, which was a legislative reform for act 181 and act 250. It promotes agri-tourism, and it passed with bi-partisn support, allowing Vermont farms to host dinners, open houses, and educational events with less regulation and permitting. If Burtt was to be reelected, his goals are to help lower  taxes for Vermonters, making healthcare more attainable and affordable, ensuring Vermonters have access to quality education while also maintaining fiscal responsibility. He hopes to continue supporting Vermont farms and local business and giving rural Vermont a voice in Montpelier.

Greg Burtt has received an endorsement from the Vermont Dairy Producers Alliance.

Eric Bach, a Democrat, is committed to representing the best interests of his potential constituency. Eric hopes to stabilize taxes for everyday Vermonters, building more access to affordable healthcare, reducing red-tape and preserving rural Vermont and its identity.

Eric Bach has received endorsements from the Vermont Conservation Voters, Indivisible St. Johnsbury, the Caledonia Democrats Organization.
