Mother's Day

mothers dayLYNDONVILLE - Mother’s Day is usually a special day for most mothers to spend with their children. This Sunday, a few residents in Lyndon are a little busy getting ready for the big day.

Co-Owner of the Daisy Daze, Sarah Dwyer said, “I work in an industry where I work a lot of the holidays.”

Working a lot of the holidays is not the only problem mothers will run into.

“My mom lives 3,000 miles away, but I still send her flowers,” said Dwyer.

Finding the perfect gift for a mother’s hard work is something which most people would want to be beneficial.

“Like pedicures and manicures, other than having your hair done,” said Sheer Sensation Stylist Mickey Antonucci, “They get more relaxation when they come into the salon.”

This time of year brings no down time at Sheer Sensations.

“Its gets a little busy, everyone is trying to find the perfect gift for their mothers,” said Antonucci.

All of us here at Newline and News 7 wish you all a Happy Mother’s Day.
