Made In Vermont Marketplace

jean elizabeth2AROUND THE NEK-- The want and desire for homemade and organic products is something most people look for, and this year the second annual Made In Vermont Marketplace will have just that.

 

 

With over 80 companies and stores coming to the event from all over Vermont, there will be a lot products costumers can choose from. Merchandise that will be at this event ranges from wood products to food and wine. One vender in particular that traveling to the three day event is Jean Elizabeth from Jean Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has had her company for about 23 years now. She first started her company in a one bedroom house and now has progressed to running everything out of her basement.

She has added many different products to her innovatory over the last few years, trying different scents and perfecting some original ones. To the marketplace she will be bringing almost all of her products to sell; from lotions to soaps to even creams.

Elizabeth has done other trade shows like this one, but she never heard of this trade show till this year and the way she found out about it was just out of the blue.

"I got an email from the lady of events manager," Elizabeth said. "And when I saw the name, I know Cindy D. I did trade shows over there before, years ago, and I liked her. I liked her business sense, you know I really think she does a fantastic job. And so I said I'm going to do this, so that's why."

The Made in Vermont Marketplace will be held at the Champlain Valley Exposition on April 10th through the 12th.
