Dyllan Durham, another speaker who has served, told everyone how honored he was to be at the event.

In downtown Lyndovnville, another celebration of honoring veterans happened at the Veteran's War Memorial. People were reminded that win or lose, every war has casualties. Lawerence King, a veteran who served in World War II who was a part of the Battle of Normandy, told his stories that he shared with us, "I had highschool chums who came from Lyndonville, Vermont here that did not make it they were killed on the beach."

Another World War II Veteran, Madeline Chaffee, who was staged at Pearl Harbor, told her insight of the war, "I was at Pearl harbor and I've seen the middle of war. A war is horrible. No matter where you are Korea whatever. It's very important to me. I love my Country." The ceremonies did not stop there, as St. Johnsbury had a parade to honor and remember veterans.
