Peacham Christmas Guild

peachampic finalPEACHAM - The town of Peacham showed their Christmas spirt this Halloween weekend, with their 20th annual Christmas show.

This annual Christmas show, hosted by the Peacham Corner Guild, offered many different things such as jewelry, art, special foods, holiday decorations, and of course, who could forget that Christmas music.

The Peacham community gets really involved in this yearly tradition. Susan Chandler, a Guild member, thinks it really represents the town of Peacham very well. "We are a diverse community, with a real appreciation for beauty and the arts and the show reflects that," Chandler says.

According to Chandler, the show has been growing in size, and has become more successful with every passing year. "I think our quality has gone up, we have a diversity of items that you rarely find in a Guild, and just unique, highest quality pieces," says Chandler.

With hundreds coming out to the show, local vendors make several hundred dollars during the two day show. "I think it sort of ties the town together, because people are coming, actually, they're working at the Guild from outside of Peacham, which brings people in," Peacham resident, Olive Cheney says.

If you missed this years show, there is no need to worry. You can stop by the Guild's holiday shop from November 16th through December 17th. The shop is open Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's, located at the Peacham Corner Guild.
