V-LI FOOTBALLLYNDON- The Lyndon Institute Vikings took the loss against the Milton Yellowjackets on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets took and early lead and never looked back.  With the final score of 54-8, the Vikings record is now zero and three to start the early season.

Even though this is not what the Vikings had hoped for, Mark Palmier, the head coach believes they can still turn their season around, even with the new players they have added.

"I'm very encouraged. It's a learning curve and we're going to get better and just keep working hard." Says Palmier.

The next game for the Vikings will be an away game this Saturday against Rice at 1p.m.
