LYNDON-Lyndon Institute lost to Lamoille Vally on Saturday. It was only their second lost, but they have still yet to win a game.
The first half saw Lamoile in the lead, up until the Vikings managed to tie it up one to one.
The game managed to go into to overtime, but only for two minutes, when Lamoille scored.
It may seem like the season is off too a rough start, but the vikings insist it is just start of the season kinks they need to work out.
Ashton Rodrigues, a defender, feels it’s just a matter of time before the Vikings start playing as a team.
"Most of us haven't played together, it's a great mix of styles. We have the Spanish players who are used to passing-passing, not the rough play of America, then we have Ubai from Syria who's working really hard, so yeah, after awhile, we're gonna get it together, hopefully gonna get some wins."
Their next game will be on Tuesday at four, against the Hill Toppers in St. Johnsbury.
