Bad Weather Means Hazardous Roads

atrailerLYNDONVILLE- As the snow continues to fall, the roads are becoming more and more slippery. A tractor-trailer happened to experience these hazardous roads as the driver was forced to swerve off-road.

William Bettherew was driving the 2000 SGT Enterprise tractor-trailer Northbound on I-91 in Lyndonville. At approximately 8 o'clock this morning, a driver of a small car was traveling off the ramp. As the car came off the ramp, the slush on the roads had pulled it right in front of the tractor-trailer. Bettherew had to swerve off the road in order to ensure his safety, "I went over to the left lane. The slush caught him and pulled him right over in front of me. So, I had nowhere to go."

Bettherew's tractor-trailer was towed two hours after the slide and fortunately, there were no injuries to either involved in the accident.
