thumbnailtemplateLYNDONVILLE - Saturday afternoon, the Lyndon State Hornets took on the Green Mountain Eagles after a shutout earlier in the day.

Lyndon controlled the game as they led 25 to 19 in the first set against their North Atlantic conference foes. The Hornets kept the game in their favor as they continued their scoring streak in the second set.

 

Freshman Outside-Hitter Abbey Greene totaled eight kills and three of nine blocks in the match. Senior Morgan Diltz also contributed with 5 kills and 7 service aces.

After dropping a set, The Hornets claimed the game by winning the match 3 to 1 in the fourth.

Lyndon State will play again Tuesday night against Norwich University where they hope to keep their win-streak alive.
