CyberSecurityLyndonville- October is national Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Held every year, the goal is to educate people on internet safety. From changing your passwords every so often, to making sure you are not using the same login information for multiple websites. These are just a few tips to keep yourselves a step ahead of the hackers.

 

 

 Northern Vermont University’s Chief Technology Officer Michael Dents, says that these aren’t just kids pulling pranks anymore. “They’re after people’s money. They want you to give up information to steal your identity. It used to just be a game kind of, now it’s really for the money.”
