LYNDONVILLE- A woman was sent to the hospital this afternoon after authorities responded to a crash on Route 5 in Lyndonville.
According to Police Chief Jack Harris, a car was pulling out of the Miss Lyndonville Diner parking lot, and wnet right in front of the womans vehicle traveling North on Route 5. Harris says that the driver looked and believed that he was all clear before he did so. The woman only suffered minor injuries as a result of aches and pains recieved from the deployment of the cars air bags.
When asked about who was at fault, Chief Harris said that the gentleman leaving the Miss Lyndonville Diner was becuase "he's leaving a private driveway, into a public highway. He has to exersize due care so as to avoid any accidents."
