cnsusuperintendentLYNDON - Jennifer Botzojorns has been selected to be the superintendent of the Caledonia North Supervisory Union. The CNSU Board made the decision earlier this morning after the completion of background checks and approval from the Agency of Education. The choice was between two candidates, the other being Chris Pratt.

The Board as well as members of the public had the chance to ask both candidates questions yesterday evening, followed by their final interviews.
Botzojorns currently serves as the assistant superintendent in the Chittenden East Supervisory Union in Richmond, while Pratt serves as the superintendent in the Windham Southwest Supervisory Union in Wilmington.

Salary and compensation are to be negotiated later today, and Botzojorns is expected to have a formal start date of July 1 this year.
Previously, four candidates had applied for the position, and eventually decided to narrow the search to Botzojorns and Pratt.

Botzojorns is stepping in for the position after former CNSU superintendent Victoria Shuffler lost her battle with leukemia during July of last year. Since then, Mary Ann Riggie has been the interim superintendent as the board found a suitable candidate.
