LYNDON- The Lyndon Holiday Shoppe will be opening its doors for its fourth year of business this weekend, but at yet another new location.
This year, vendors will be moving to Depot street to sell all of their holiday related wares and gifts.
Mary Marceau, President of the Lyndon Chamber of Commerce, likes the holiday shoppe, because it keeps business local.
"The idea is just to give the residents another place to shop local. Keep the money here and it also gives the small businesses who don't have a place to sell through the holidays, an option for retail space for the six weeks of the holiday season," said Marceau.
With the shoppe opening on Saturday, it still has a few spots for businesses to fill.
"This year, with a thousand square feet, we're looking for twenty-five vendors and right now we have nineteen," said Marceau.
After all is said and done, Marceau said that one reason to come to the shop is that "you never know what you're going to find."
