Gas Prices in Vermont

gas prices finalAROUND THE NEK- Next time you fill up your car at the pump, you may notice you're paying less for gas. That's because with crude oil prices dropping, so are gas prices around the nation, and just in time for the holiday travel season. 

Nationally, drivers are spending $3.11 per gallon at the pump on average. This is 24 cents less than what people are paying in Vermont, with the average price set at $3.36. 

However, in the northern region of the state, prices have been significantly lower. In Lyndonville and St. Johnsbury, you can expect to pay around $3.29 a gallon. 

This is the lowest October average in over three years for our nation. Last year, Vermonters were spending roughly $3.56, and in 2012, $3.91 at the pumps. 

If you are looking for the lowest gas station around our region, look no futher than Danville. There average price per gallon is $3.24.
