peachamtemplate copyPEACHAM - A main road in Peacham has caused some safety concerns for residents living near the Peacham School. 

 The Peacham Select Board discussed the possibility of extending school zone and adding more street signs in this area.

Various close calls along the this road were brought to the attention of the Select Board. 

 

“Where people have flown up the hill from South Peacham, I have looked and I haven’t seen anything. As I pull in, I look in my rear view mirror, all of sudden, cars on my tail because they have come up the road so fast that they haven’t seen me. There is been no warning to them to slow down,” said local resident John Gill.  

 

A meeting is being planned to discuss future proposals for the road.
