snowmobilecrashWHEELOCK- Vermont State Police are investigating a snowmobile crash in Wheelock that left one dead. 47-year-old Keith Whitney of East Haven, Connecticut was riding on the VAST trails when he hit a metal cable that was connected to two trees.

Whitney was riding with another individual who called 911. Whitney was transported to the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. In addition, Lyndon Rescue, Sheffield-Wheelock Fire Department, and CALEX responded to the scene.
