Forecast for the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

We will be on break through January 19, 2010.  Please check back for weather updates in the New Year!!

METEOROLOGIST: Garrett Combs

After the first Winter storm of the season passed through, we will see the aftermath of the storm lingering around over the next few days with scattered snow showers into the weekend.  The windy conditions will calm down over course of the day on Friday, but in its wake we will see temperatures beginning to fall with a shot of cold Canadian air pushing through for the weekend.  Our high temperatures will only be reaching into the upper 10s, even 20 if we're lucky, and overnight lows will dip down into the single digits, with wind chills below 0 in the valleys.  Definitely make sure you're bundling up over the course of the weekend.  By the time the start of the week rolls around, we should see temperatures warming back up to around the 30-degree mark, still with a few stray snow flurries here and there
