The Lyndon Institute boys baseball team improved their record to 2-0 yesterday after an outstanding pitching performance by Buddy Lamothe.
Lamothe pitched a complete game giving up just 3 hits, 1 run, and striking out 16 of the potential 21 batters.
The Vikings offense wasn't that all impressive while only collecting 2 hits the entire game, but patience at the plate was what won it for L.I.
A total of 8 walks was awarded to the Vikings including 4 straight in the 5th inning which lead to 3 runs being scored.
The final score was 4-1 and coach Justin Smith couldn't be happier with the contributions from every player.
