The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers baseball team held their first game on Tuesday, hosting the North Country Union Falcons. The Hilltoppers scored three runs in the second inning giving them an early 4-1 lead. North Country followed suite with 5 runs in the third inning. St. J. would come back late in the sixth, bringing in 6 runs and giving the Hilltoppers their first win of the season.

The Lady Hilltoppers also started their season out on Tuesday hosting the Falcons on their new softball field at St. Johnsbury Academy. St. J. scored 6 runs early in the game but North Country would fight back, knocking in 3 runs in the second, bringing them within 3. But the Lady Hilltoppers wouldn't have it, scoring 3 more runs and giving them their first "W" of the season and the first on their new field.
