Wednesday, March 11th, 2009
St. Johnsbury -Volunteers from the Kingdom Animal Shelter were happy to announce a plan to gain access to a building to house the many stay and neglected animals in their care.Currently animals that required shelter have been housed in the homes of volunteers, with some members taking in ten plus cats, dogs, and other critters.
The details of the building size and location are still in the planning phase, while the Kingdom Animal Shelter continues to work with the Elizabeth H. Brown Humane Society to hammer out details. Despite the current lack of information on the project members of the shelter are thrilled and optimistic about the possibility of a roof over the head's of animals in their care.
