As if Buddy Lamothe's 16 strikeout game wasn't enough excitement for Lyndon Institute Baseball Team, Elizabeth Hamel only added to the headlines.

Hamel threw a no-hitter against the Lady Knights of Rice yesterday afternoon striking out 10 batter and allowing only 2 walks through 5 innings.

Only one player for Rice reached second base the entire game and it was because of an error.

Hamel also brought her bat to the game as she collected 3 hits and scored 3 runs for the home team.

Kayla Franklin added her own three hits and Shauna Poole ran out 2 triples.

While the 15 to nothing score and continued 76 win streak is impressive, Coach Patrick Guckin is more concerned about this year's post season.
