Monday night the lady Hilltoppers looked to end their four game losing streak as they hosted The BFA St. Albans Comets. St. Johnsbury stepped their defense in the second half, it was tough battle for both sides as each team fought for the lead. BFA fell behind but came back taking the lead on a jump shot. Britney Lane came up with a steal late in the game leading to the bucket, which helped secure a fifty-four to forty-nine St. J victory. She led the game with twenty-one points. After the win, Hilltopper coach Jack Driscoll said, “you want to be playing well heading into the last week of the season and this kind of gives us a spring board towards doing that.” The lady Hilltoppers will host Rice Thursday evening as they wrap up the regular season tip off is at 6:45.
