The original winter maintenance budget in Bradford was nearly $23,000 lower than it should have been...altering the data printed in the report.

This caused the highway budget to be nearly $80,000 lower than last years approved budget. Everyone favored the corrected budget at $623,000. Bradford Select Board Chairman, Ted Unkles said, "Well I'm sure people will ask how it is we published the report with that mistake in it and I wish I had a good answer for them. We reviewed it several times and none of us caught it until after it was printed. I do expect the voters will be unhappy with that and rightly so."

The select board also stated that some of the highway accounts have been moved and placed in other categories so the town and its citizens know where their money is going.
