Residents of Kirby approved a 2.7% increase on the school budget.

Citizens of Kirby packed their town hall to decide on the town's current issues. Some of the topics this year included voting for new town officials, approving the increase on the school budget and voting on the Northeast Kingdoms Waste Management District budget. The proposed waste budget for 2010 is six hundred thousand dollars.The town will need to pull in about fifteen thousand more dollars from residents of the town.
