ST. JOHNSBURY - Local food banks are working hard to keep up with the increasing number of people who need their help. Vermont has one of the highest food insecurity rates in the nation.

BURKE - Burke Mountain is getting ready for the new season. A large part of their preparations include repairing all of the rails and boxes that Burke uses in its terrain park.

ST. JOHNSBURY - A local MMA fighter recently won the Burlington Brawl.  MMA, or Mixed Martial Arts, is a type of competitive fighting that incorporates many different styles of fighting including kickboxing, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu among others.

This past Saturday at the Lyndonville municipal building there was a very unique kind of gathering.  Barks and yips echoed around the gym as pugs and their owners came together for Pugtoberfest.
