SHEFFIELD - Slippery Roads caused a tractor-trailer carrying explosive materials to roll over early Monday morning. The accident occurred on Duck Pond Road in Sheffield. The Sheffield Wind project was preparing to drill and blast on the site where the wind turbines will be placed.

VERMONT - Secretary of State Deb Markowitz conducted random audits on 2% of the polling places that used optical scan tabulators following the November 2nd general election. The towns that were audited included Burlington's first ward, Chittendens wards 3-6, Fairlee, Montpelier, Richmond, and Troy.

BRADFORD - Hannaford Supermarket in Bradford is crossing off one more item on their list towards getting a new supermarket. When Hannaford opened in the P&C Building in Bradford, they immediately announced plans to tear down the current building and replace it with a brand new one.
