A local Senator is talking about serving another term. Health care, Jobs, and Taxes are some of the issues concerning the people of Caledonia County. State Senator Jane Kitchell of Danville has been representing Caledonia and Orange Counties since 2004 and is talking about her next term.

Concord residents and students rallied in support of Principal Karl Stein who has been absent from the school for over a month. The Concord School Board announced that Principal Stein has been on administrative leave since mid-October at a Special School Board Meeting held to address the issue. The School Board started the meeting by moving into executive session where they voted to accept the resignation of Principal Karl Stein.

This is one reason Governor Jim Douglas called for a review of the higher education structure between Vermont State Colleges and the University of Vermont last Thursday.
