Lyndonville Polices Newest Officer

LYNDONVILLE- On February 28th Lyndonvilles newest Police Officer will be sworn in. The newest officer is replacing Officer James Hemond who resigned to join the Caledonia County Sheriffs Department.

"We went through the applications, from there we did background checks, and from there we narrowed it down to an interview process. At that point we utilized our police advisory board to also come in, and a candidate was selected from there," said Police Chief Jack Harris.

The newest officer will be 26 year old Brandon Thrailkill of Lyndonville who was one of around 25 applicants.  This will be Thrailkills first job in law enforcement though Chief Harris feels that he will be well suited for the job.
