VermontWORK VT- Vermont Business Magazine and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce have announced the thirty eight businesses that are considered the best places to work in the Green Mountain State.

According to Vermont Business Magazine, to be included on the list businesses must; have at least fifteen people working, be private or publically held, be a not-for-profit or for profit business, and have a minimum of one year as a business.

Ten-time winner Edward Jones made the list again as well as local business Jasper Hill Farm, a working dairy farm with an on-site creamery.

Zoe Brickley, Jasper Hill’s Director of Sales and Marketing says the farm thinks the public recognition is nice; their motivation for being apart of the process is to understand how the business is doing.

“Our business is changing a lot it’s taking a lot of rigor and focus to keep our human capitol happy, productive, and working efficiently,” says Brickley. “This is a great sort of whiteness test to understand how we’re doing.”

Tonight the final rankings will be announced at the Echo Lake Aquarium and Science Center in Burlington.
