The Hilltoppers increased their record to 17-0.

The two teams met earlier this season in Saint Johnsbury, where the Hilltoppers defeated the Crimson Tide in a close match up. The final score was 51-42.The Crimson Tide proved to be a tough opponent for the Hilltoppers, and looked to snap the team's winning streak.

The Hilltoppers held the Crimson Tide to just 14 points in the first half, as SJA's Vlad Cobzaru proved to be a force in middle, coming up with numerous rebounds and blocked shots.
Spaulding started the fourth quarter with a 6-0 run, but Saint Johnsbury Academy Sophomore Tristan Ross helped the Hilltoppers answer back. Ross led the team with 14 points.

Saint Johnsbury Academy defeated Spaulding 65-36, and were able to hold onto their streak. Hilltopper Coach Tom O'Shea spoke about the team's undefeated record, and its future.
"I don't look at it so much (as) if we're undefeated or not. I look at whether or not we're getting better. I've seen it especially on the defensive end over the last number of games. We've held teams to under 45 points, and to low shooting percentages. That's the key thing if you're going to win games, especially at the end of the year, you want your defense at it's peak," O'Shea said.

The Hilltoppers will travel to Rice Memorial High School on February 14th in pursuit of their 18th straight victory.
