ST.JOHNSBURY- Micheal Norrie, the man accused of shooting Sheffield Grandmother Mary Pat O”Hagan, was in court last week. Norrie is now being charged with the murder nearly three years later.
It took officials those three years to feel they had enough evidence to charge Norrie. Vermont attorney, General Bill Sorrell said he believed there was not enough evidence to charge anyone, but a Caladonia County attorney thought other wise and re-opened the case.
Son of Mary Pat, Terry O’Hagan, is happy to see his mothers alleged killer have his day in court. Terry says, “We have a certain amount of confidence that something was gonna happen and when Lisa took it back over, it was more positive.”
Along with these charges, Norrie was also given a no contact order with his girlfriend and his son.
