Henson In Court

hensonSAINT JOHNSBURY - WCAX reporter Matt Henson was in court Monday, facing charges of lewd and lascivious conduct and engaging in a prohibited act, stemming from an altercation last month.

 

According to court documents, charges stem from an altercation at the Packing House on March 15th. Court documents state Henson was aggressive towards a female Lyndon State College student at the bar, grabbing and innapropriately touching her several times. Documents also say Henson was very drunk and verbally aggressive towards Packing House staff.  Henson was arrested with a blood-alchol level of .194 and was released the following afternoon. 

In court Henson pled not guilty to all charges.  He was ordered to not have contact with the victim, not enter the Packing House, and to provide the State Police with a DNA sample. 

Henson is due back in court on July 12th.

A new law was passed in the state of New Hampshire pressing restaurants to not provide straws for customers unless specifically asked to do so. A few Vermont restaurants have already taken to this practice without a law in place.
