"The Easter egg hunt is definitely one of our biggest events of the year" says DJ Jess Hughman "the weather's nice and everyone is just itching to get out and enjoy the weather."

The egg hunt has been going on for more than 10 years in Saint Johnsbury which features the Easter bunny and music "one time a year they get to go out and get candy" said parent Richard Blair "it's great for the kids and they are able to interact with others in the community."

Parents watched as kids gathered candy and some went home with Easter baskets. According to Hughman there are plans in the works to hold the event again next year.
