Barbershop Moves To New Location

St. Johnsbury- Dan' Barbershop & Shove Parlor is now moving to 36 Eastern Ave. in Saint Johnsbury

The current location of the shop is at 560 Railroad Street. They are moving to a new building with the help of a grant received from the town worth seventy-five hundred dolllars. The new shop will have more space than the current one and will have more workers also. The shop will also have more chairs than the previous shop. 

The current building of the shop is going to go through renovation program in the near future. Even though the shop needs to move to a different location, Daniel Sweet, the owner of the barbershop; was still planning to move to a different place and saw this as an opportunity to start doing the new shop sooner rather than later. Daniel said, "We're pulling up from our old location here...560 Railroad Street. We're moving over to 36 Eastern Ave. Expanding a little bit; we're going from a two chair shop to a four chair shop. Hoping to find a third or fourth barber. Got a third guy on the line...waiting for a fourth." Daniel also has contacted LI to try to give some barber courses this year or next year and also give classes to people around the community who wants to be a barber.
