Robbery at Champlain Farms in Saint Johnsbury

Robbery PhotoSt. Johnsbury- St. Johnsbury Police Department responded to a 911 call on Saturday at Champlain Farms on Railroad Street in St. Johnsbury. Police say a male subject strong-armed the store's clerk to the register and demanded money from the drawer.

Officers and a deputy of Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department were informed by staff members of Champlain Farms that the male subject is approximately 5’10”, caucasian, tall, skinny, was wearing a light blue jacket with a hood, a dark blue hat, blue jeans, and a red bandana that covered his face. The amount of money that was taken is still unknown and the man appeared to have left the scene on foot.

The St. Johnsbury Police Department is asking for anyone with information to call the St. Johnsbury Police Department at 802-748-2314 or if wished to remain anonymous to call the Northeast Kingdom Crime Stoppers tip line at 802-748-2222.
