Still No Town Manager

schoolboard 3-23ST. JOHNSBURY - St. Johnsbury has yet to fill the position for their new town manager. Select Board chairman, Kevin Oddy, is concerned with the experience of the available remaining candidates.

Oddy said, “Most applicants who have applied have less experience and with the ones who qualify have either retired or taken the job offer somewhere else.”

The Select board may not have yet found a new town manager, however, they did appoint two new members of the Design Advisory Committee. Along with the election of the two new members, the board also approved two proposals of the Water Treatment Planning Loan.

Currently the postion is being filled by John Hall. Hall says that he is more than willing to stay in his postion until they fill the position.
