LYNDONVILLE- With bitter cold winds and snow approaching it could cool the warm hearts of the Northeast Kingdom this Valentines Day. With forecasts predicting 8-12" tonight and tomorrow delivering flowers could be an issue during this season of love.
The snow will affect driving conditions and in turn affect deliveries over the weekend. The change in conditions could either delay or cancel the arrival of Valentines Day gifts.
That is not the only issue that could affect the holiday as the bitter cold could kill the flowers in seconds.
Sara Brewyer, Co-Owner of Daisy Daze in Lyndonville, remains optimistic about the situation. Brewyer says, "You know with the weather it's a little it tricky but we've been trying to get everything out".
If delivery drivers leave for their destinations at the correct time they can avoid the poor driving conditions and possible accidents.
