LYNDON - Lyndon Institute girls volleyball took on Randolph this past Friday.  The ladies first set was back and forth in the beginning but sophomore Rita Martin went on a serving hot streak and shot the Vikings out front.

The Vikings won their first set 25 to 16. In set two, the Vikings barely let Randolph score, winning 25 to 10.  Once again, a Sophomore led the charge with Kiara Carter serving up untouchable balls in set 3, as the girls completed a three set sweep with a 25 to 14 win.

"Our team really worked well together, and we have some dorm students from Spain and Brazil that really just joined our community, and are a good part of our team, and so we all worked well together," said Senior Grace Martin.

The Vikings will meet at St Johnsbury to battle against the Hilltoppers tomorrow.
