Mixed Martial Arts in Lyndonville

MMA Fight Screen ShotLYNDONVILLE- They come from all over, people training and pushing themselves to the limit; all of them looking to achieve the same goal. A chance to call themselves the champion of Xtreme Combat Productions Last Man Standing competition.

This weekend at the Lyndonville armory action, emotion, and excitement filled the air as Mixed Martial Arts fighters stepped into the octagon. After months and even years of training these individuals get to show off all the hard work that they have gone through. Throughout their training these fighters push their bodies to the limit as they get themselves fit for fight mode.

These fighters are not only tested physically but also emotionally. They put forth so much time and effort for one fight and to be able to earn the title they have been working so hard to achieve. And when the action starts referees are standing by in the octagon ready to step in at a moments notice when it all unfolds.

“Our number one priority is safety. Its a sensitive job because you don’t want to stop the fight too early or too late…i don’t want to send a guy home too early because they put in a lot of time and dedication” said referee Lucus John.

These fights are open to the public and occur across New England. Fighters from all across the United States in their late teens to twenties are eligible to enter in these events. General admission is $35 in advance and $40 at the door. If you wish to sit “cage side” it’s $45 in advance and $50 at the door. The next fight will take place Saturday March 25 at 7:00pm in Rutland Vermont.
