Asia Parking Lot

LYNDONVILLE- The future of land next to the Asia Restaurant parking lot is still uncertain.

Lyndonville is attempting to acquire land owned by the state next to the Asia Restaurant parking lot. Currently there is a section of land on the north side of the space that is unused and messy.

If Lyndonville obtains this land it would mean more off street parking for tenants in the Depot street area.

Lyndonville town manager Dan Hill agrees, "When everything is said and done we're going to take those trees down and we're going to put up a street light and increase the size of that parking lot substantially, which will give us more off street parking, which will be a huge help in the winter time for people who are always looking for a place to park."

Lot changes cannot be decided until the current lease with the parking lot and the state expires. Hill also said the decision to expand the parking lot next to Asia Restaurant might be made by this summer.
