Although 2,343 miles away the volcano that erupted in Iceland on April 14 has affected several students in the Lyndonville area.

French students at Lyndon Institute were planning a trip to France this week.

Eleven students were en route to the airport in Montreal when they were made aware of the cancellation of their flight. Senior Wil Raymond was shocked and disappointed when he realized he was not going to experience Paris this week.
