Residents of Saint Johnsbury are doing things a little different this year regarding Town Meeting Day. During last year's meeting voters decided to change the format of the meeting to an Australian Ballot.

This means that tonight (March 1, 2010) voters of Saint Johnsbury will meet for an Information Session. This is the time for discussion on all issues being voted on this year. However, nothing gets voted on at this meeting.

In order to vote, voters need to visit the Father Lively Center on Summer Street where they can vote on the matters discussed the previous night.

The Information Session takes place on March 1, 2010 at the Saint Johnsbury School Auditorium. This meeting with begin at 7:00 p.m. The voting will take place on March 2, 2010 at the Lively Center between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Town Manager Mike Welch confirms the change.
