AP scores

Parents of high school students who are taking Advanced Placement classes have a right to brag. According to The 6th Annual AP Report to the Nation, released Wednesday, February 10, 2010, Vermont ranks in the top ten for Advanced Placement scores.

This score means that almost 20% of the 2009 graduating class scored a 3 or higher on the test. Research has shown that students who score a 3 or higher typically have better success in college and tend to graduate more then their non-AP classmates.

The Exam measures how well students have mastered learning specific academic subjects and disciplines at a college-level.
