People of the community gathered to listen to the sounds of the musical series "From Russia with Love".

For their second part of the three-part lecture, that began last week, Bill Cotte presented music that struck a chord with many people who enjoy learning about music.

The audience heard pieces of classical music from Russian composers, for some it might have been a trip down memory lane with the Sputnik event and the Cold War.  Sounds from Van Cliburn in Moscow in 1958, brought a relaxing melody and became the teachings from Lyndon State College's Professor Bill Cotte.  If you would like to attend the final part of the series, it is held in Lyndon State College's Burke Mountain Room, next Monday April 26, 2010 at 7 P.M.
