Burke Mountain’s NorAm finals have brought skiers from the United States, Canada, and many other countries to the Northeast Kingdom. With Assistance from Burke Mountain Academy and USSA the race will be held on March 14th and 15th. Burke Mountain Academy students are reaping the benefits of skiing with the pros. Pro skiers racing in this weekends NorAm finals were at Burke Mountain again practicing yesterday. Nolan Kasper and Tommy Ford are two of the ski team racers that are helping Burke Mountain Academy students. While NorAm skiers like Kasper spend most of their time on the mountain preparing for the race they weren’t too busy to talk to the kids at BMA. Kieffer Christianson who is a student says,"he’s learned a lot by spending time with skiers like Ford and Kasper." The training, coaching, and experience the students get is top notch but Kasper says,"the best thing they can do is to have fun and just ski."
